Hey everyone! I hope that you've been enjoying this series so far! Here's part 5! Thank you for your continued support and I hope that you enjoy this!
Much love and keep dreaming, Momo

It was Haruki. I didn't want to bother him, so I neither acknowledged him or tried to peak conversation, so instead, I backed away slowly to another corner of the subway. Almost tripping, I apologized to the people around me as I got pushed to a few poles down from Haruki. He looked my way at the commotion but didn't notice me, so I sighed in relief. He seemed his usual stoic self, while seeming very busy in thought. I expect he's got a lot on his mind, so he probably doesn't want to bothered. The bags in each of his hands were slowly slipping out of his grip as the earbuds in his ears distracted him from the atmosphere around him. When it was finally his turn to leave, he shuffled his feet outside as if they were heavy. I guess he had a bad day today, so I prayed that whatever will happen, everything will be ok.
I decided to not meddle in his business and ask if he was alright the next day at work. So, I put my focus elsewhere. Simply sitting down and writing is probably the most therapeutic thing I can do to release stress. Although I had lots of work to do and lots of deadlines to consider, I thought that it was necessary to first jot down a few ideas and thoughts in my diary before I got to my job. I found myself lost in a writer’s world as I wrote pages and pages in my diary about all the latest things that have happened to me in the last couple of days. It was refreshing to read my devotions and today’s verse on my calendar and took a few minutes to pray for a great day. I knew that today was going to be great if I would simply enjoy life and be thankful for it. So, I took out my daily tools of a red pen and a desperately short led pencil and took on the very first stack of the day.
Leaving my stuffy room to eat lunch downstairs was definitely needed as I didn't get to take a break from a non-stop cycle of editing in quite a few hours. As I walked outside, a cold breeze swept through my hair, telling me that the cold season would be coming soon. I pulled my jacket closer around me and wrapped my fingers onto my third cup of coffee this morning tightly. Stopping in my tracks to simply enjoy the scenery around me that I often overlook when I walk out here was therapeutic and reminded me of the blessings of the bright, new day.
Then, as if I was stuck in a fantasy, or magically thrown into a book, snowflakes began to dance from the sky, falling in spirals and swinging movements. I laughed as I realized how close the Christmas season was approaching and greeted the wintertime with open arms. Shivering, I put my hands in my pocket, but at that moment, I felt a warm coat on my shoulders and noticed a black umbrella hover over my head I turned around to see Haruki. He wore an oversized black sweater and jeans. "Thank....thank you." I smiled.
Haruki returned the smile, "Yeah, your'e welcome." He then quickly turned around and ran back into the building, avoiding conversation. I put his coat on and stuffed my hands in the big pockets. I felt a box in the left pocket and took it out to find a box filled with pink, cherry blossom cookies inside. On the label, he wrote "Thanks for everything, Ms. Robin. Haruki." It's going to be a great Christmas season this year, I thought as I smiled and turned around to go back inside.
