Ten Valid Reasons Why Kdramas Kill Me Inside

Hello everyone!
If you haven't noticed already, I kind of really like Korean dramas. However, there's a reason for that and I'll explain that to you in ten, thought-out explanations below! And for your information, Korean Dramas are amazing and don't ever think twice about insulting them after reading this! (At least now while I'm around.)
Now I will proceed to break down the ten, detailed reasons why I think Korean Dramas are the best shows out there!!!! I hope that you will join me in laughing and crying as we venture down memory lane!
1. Pure Innocence I put this point as my first reason of why I love Kdramas with a burning passion because Kdramas keep that pure, sweet innocence in romance that is often left out in Western shows. Kdramas define romance in a way that I respect and prefer. "Simple" and over-looked actions found in many Western shows are so romantic in Kdrams. A handhold, a simple eye glance, or even being in the same class, is seen as romantic, and I appreciate that in Korean dramas. They generally keep the romance safe and scenes that will lead to inappropriate actions are often cut out, which is more romantic to me. When you keep that innocence, you let the person know that you appreciate them for who they are and are respectful of their well-being, emotional and physical state, as well as their feelings. Ok Momo, stop talking, you're going to bore them.

2. Oppa!! We all have our own Oppas right? To name a few, Ji Chang Wook...Song Joong Ki.....Wooyoung....but what about in Korean dramas? In Kdramas, I love how the main lead will generally chase after one girl. He dedicates his time to her and often time, offers many sweet gestures that make us Harabajis cry hysterically behind the screen. Not only do I really appreciate that he only goes after one girl, but that he generally will respect not only her, but her parents as well.

3. The Unique Details I'm sure you've all witnessed an Oppa giving the girl a cute gift, or an unique, specific feature in a drama that made the drama even more lovable.

4. Korean Culture
I love the Korean culture, because older people than you, especially your own older relatives, are treasured, respected, and appreciated. Elders offer so much wisdom and guidance behind those hazy eyes. I love how the culture is focused on respecting others, putting others before yourself, and just yeah, you get it. Korea's just amazing, I want to go there one day, and I love the food!

5. Second Leads Second leads....CAN I SAY MORE THAN SECOND LEADS ARE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WHO NEED AN ANNUAL CEREMONY OF APPRECIATION BECAUSE THEY ARE OFTEN LEFT OUT OF THE PICTURE WHEN SOMETIMES THEY DESERVE THE GIRL???

6. Couple Clothes/Days/Accessories Ok so, there's this thing in Korean Dramas and also in real Korean culture where couples will have matching things. Now at first glance, you may not think much of it, BUT I THINK THAT IT IS SO ADORABLE AND BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL!

7. The Smile Oh yes, don't read over this and pretend that you don't smile hysterically like an 80 year old harabaji when your OTP smiles. Oh yes, you know, THE SMILE. THE SMILE THAT WIPES AWAY ALL YOUR SAD TEARS, THE SMILE THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO OPEN YOUR WINDOWS BECAUSE IT'S ALL OF A SUDDEN A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND THE SMILE THAT YOU COULD CREEPILY STARE AT IN CLASS THAT'S ON THE FRONT PAGE OF YOUR BROKEN BINDER. Oh yes, you know, that smile.

You're welcome 8. Best friends! In Kdramas or JDramas, I feel like the main lead as in Good Morning Call, won't neglect her best friend, just because she likes a guy. This is true friendship! Just because you start liking a guy/girl doesn't give you the right to let go of your best friend. Remember that best friends are rare, precious, and a gift from God! So, don't forget to remind them as often as you can how much you appreciate and love them! I also love how girls can hold hands/link arms without assuming that there's something more to it.

9. Apartments I love the apartments in Korean Dramas because they are so adorable! I actually kind of want to be a lone writer with my best friend, living in a cute apartment that's decorated with cute accessories.

10. Transportation Whether it's walking to work, taking the bus, or riding a bicycle, I think that it is so feely!!! Especially when scenes like this happen! Mmhmmm! God bless this bus driver.

I hope that you liked reading through my blog!! Feel free to comment below and tell me what makes you love Korean dramas! Much love and keep dreaming, Momo
