This wix post is dedicated to my Imotou, my best friend (besides Shaylene) and my DDL inspirer! (DDL stands for Daydreamer'sLife, I'll explain that later) My Imotou (little sister in Japanese) is an amazing person who makes me feel alive inside..T-T
So, Dear Imotou!!
Thank you for everything. Really. You are more than great, you are absolutely amazing! And I think that this letter is better written through the eyes of none other than Kon itself! (Kon refers to an anime convention that we went to.)
So, there we were, two best friends, on that Saturday morning...
I remember seeing you in line with your Attack on Titan garb and cried. You see, Momo's just not ok with that much DDL vibe. My inner "ojisan" (don't ask) comes out in full form and consumes me, just like that. And so, we waited in line, got your pass, and then off we went!
Oh Kon is beautiful isn't it, Imotou?
Kon is absolutely amazing and it's just not any convention, right? It's the annual event that brings life back into us and helps us to be DDL, right?
But I think that it is this that first made us double over in feels:
OH YES!!! IT'S THIS MY BELOVED IMOTOU! And for all of you who are unaware of this, macaroons are one of the best things on Earth and they make us happy. Very happy. So, please hand us over ten dollars to buy these macaroons and be on on your way, this is a necessary ceremonial procedure for us. We take this very seriously.
And then....as we were looking for our beloved fathers....."Um.. excuse me.. I really like your cosplay!!"
Hehe gomen ne, Imotou for cutting off her head (for privacy's sake) but remember this girl? Oh my dear chotto matte ne, and please call the ambulance because this Ojisan is not having it.
It was so DDL of you to think of buying her a gift! The mere thought of this brings tears to my eyes, "I see a bright light!"
So, we got here something like this, right?
It was so DDL T-T. Then, when we finally caught up to her, she asked us if we were stalking her! Of course not! We're not creepy! XD
But, Imotou, I will get on my knees next time for you, ok? I will be the proposing husband, ok? "Will you be my Ojisan?" XD
And, then, oh dear, I don't know if I'll be able to get through this, but, the next thing we did was very DDL. Because you insisted to buy me things (I'll definitely pay you back, Imotou) you got us sakura surprises!
And oh yes did this bring tears to my eyes! And it even made me cry more that yo u wanted to open it at sunset on the roof! And you know how we feel about the roof!!!
But the day couldn't have gotten better when we got asked for an...interview! (I still can't find it T-T)
And when you got serenaded!!!!
But, then, oh no!
I remember that you were sick but didn't have water, so I was like "Oneechan to the rescue!" So, we accidentally spilled water in the process. I remember going to the information table like a crying sloth and telling the guy about the spill. T-T
But, dah oady!! Its ooey because we got to share happiness together:
And then, we got to do so many fun adventures in the art and merchandise section! We crisised over this and that, fangirled very often, dealt with some drama T-T, and went to the gaming room!!
Remember who followed us around?
Hehe I still have the candy wrapper.
And remember who we got to hug?
And who we got to give a high-five to?
I really loved walking Kon's grounds with you and exploring the areas that no one really goes to. I loved walking around the roof at sunset and going to game room. And most of all, I just loved being with you!
So, thank you, Imotou. For everything. I love you so much and cannot wait to spend another Kon with you!!!!
