When I Realize How Far I've Come

Hey everyone!

How are you? This post has actually been on my mind for a while, and I'm finally writing it! I hope that you enjoy it and understand where I'm coming from!

Much love and keep dreaming,

Momo

After watching a few videos that reminded me of my anime stage, and reminiscing on why I liked anime, I realized a few things. Although I do not watch anime as much as I used to, it reminded me that anime represented a life that I wanted to live. Many of the characters were people who I looked up to and because of them, I was able to view life more lightheartedly. I enjoyed watching those "slice of life" animes that had characters who may not have had the best of lives, but chose to live life happily. And so when I watched the opening videos of an anime convention, it reminded me of all of the happy moments I experienced there, why that convention is my favorite place, and how it brought me to where I am now.

Through that convention, I have learned so much. As I have explained to you before, I mentioned how much I felt accepted and loved. I felt re-energized to live out my daydreams and to have motivation for the future. I look forward to it every year and I am so glad that I was able to experience it. Besides learning important life values, I also learned to just be a really great person in general. Many people that I have met there, and my sisters who have helped with me to make a gift for a voice actor, are people who are just genuinely great people. It is hard to explain, but it's like you feel this deep connection with them and they also understand you without any exceptions.

Anyways, now, looking back, I've come a long way. Of course, I couldn't have done it without the supportive people in my life such as my parents, close friends, family, but ultimately, God. From desperately trying to find my dream, to suddenly finding a better way of living, to finding a dream that feels right, it's been a good, but definitely not easy journey. Of course, I don't know where God is leading me next, but after having this dream for around a year or so, I think that it may lead to something. If not, that is ok. God's plan is always better than ours.

It was even more exciting to take a somewhat expensive career test at school and find out that my top job includes learning other languages and traveling internationally. Who knows what God has in store, right?

Well, I better stop talking before I bore you guys!XD

Have a great Christmas week!
